Medik8 is an award-winning skincare brand rapidly expanding across the globe. Our formulations are crafted, blended, and packaged in our UK facilities, ensuring quality sits at the heart of everything we do. We are looking for a Quality Compliance Operative to join our team at our state-of-the-art Innovation Centre. In this role, you will help champion a 'quality-first culture', ensuring our products continuously meet high standards and maintain full alignment with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). This role will be site-based, Monday to Friday. For this opportunity, we are offering up to £27,000 per annum.
The Role
- Working within our fast-paced operational environment, you will support key quality processes and receive direct guidance to broaden your skills.
- Daily responsibilities include:
- Performing initial assessments and coordinating investigations for customer complaints through to resolution.
- Supporting the maintenance of our Quality Management System (QMS), including CAPA, change control, and document control activities.
- Tracking QMS action timelines and escalating overdue items appropriately.
- Reviewing, updating, and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs).
- Assisting with documentation support during external audits.
- Identifying, reporting, and escalating any quality, safety, or compliance issues in line with company procedures.
What We Are Looking For
- Demonstrable experience in quality administration, document control, or QMS maintenance within a manufacturing or laboratory setting.
- Practical understanding of customer complaints handling, CAPA, and change control processes.
- Hands-on knowledge or working familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 22716, or GMP standards is advantageous.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy when updating records and documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to challenge non-compliance constructively.
- High level of organisation with the ability to balance competing priorities independently.
