Based in our Innovation Centre in Aylesbury, as a Junior Packaging Technologist, you will be part of our driven R&D team and will work closely with different teams such as Product Development and Supply Chain & Operations. By analysing and resolving any manufacturing issues, you will guarantee fit-for-purpose and efficient packaging solutions that will deliver all our products to the highest standards.

In more detail, your role will include:
- Testing & Validation: Conduct testing on packaging components, including ESC, leak testing, and functionality, while coordinating external testing to ensure structural integrity and product protection throughout the supply chain.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate records of test results and technical specifications, providing data-driven insights to help Senior Technologists validate material choices and packaging designs.
- Problem Solving: Conduct root cause analysis and data-driven problem‑solving for packaging inefficiencies arising from customer complaints, supplier input, and/or internal data.
- Cross-functional Support: Assist senior team members in the end‑to‑end development of new packaging solutions, coordinating with Procurement, Quality, and Marketing departments to meet project timelines and regulatory requirements.
- Reporting: Create and maintain databases of process parameters and assist in the creation of visual aids such as charts and graphs for presentations and reports.

- Educational Foundation: A degree in Packaging, Engineering, or a related technical qualification.
- Technical Knowledge: Demonstrable experience with primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging materials, manufacturing processes, and packing/filling environments.
- Collaborative Spirit: Confidence working cross‑functionally and with external manufacturing partners to achieve shared goals.
- Analytical Mindset: A detail‑oriented approach with the ability to work against deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
