At Medigold Health, we’re on the lookout for enthusiastic, proactive individuals to join our dynamic team as Occupational Health Technicians. This is a fantastic opportunity to kickstart your career in a growing and rewarding industry.

What Does the Role Involve?

As an Occupational Health Technician, you’ll be part of a team that helps organisations look after the health and wellbeing of their employees. You'll work on-site in Royston, with some travel to client sites, to deliver a variety of health assessments that support early detection of health issues and promote long-term wellbeing at work.

Your day-to-day might include:

  • Carrying out health surveillance tests such as:
  • Audiometry (hearing tests)
  • Spirometry (lung function tests)
  • Skin prick allergy testing
  • Vision screening
  • Venepuncture (blood draws) – we’ll give you full training
  • Preparing and maintaining equipment to ensure everything runs smoothly and safely
  • Identifying results that need follow-up and escalating them to our clinical team
  • Supporting health promotion initiatives, like wellness events or wellbeing campaigns
  • Helping to improve processes, ensuring we keep our service efficient, effective, and patient-focused
  • Completing clinical paperwork and updating health records accurately
  • No two days are quite the same. You’ll be working independently much of the time, so being confident, organised and self-motivated is key. Throughout your role, you’ll be supported by a friendly, experienced clinical team every step of the way. This role is a great opportunity to get hands-on clinical experience, develop your skills, and build a solid foundation for a career in occupational health.

    Who are we looking for?

This role is perfect for you if you:

    • Have a degree in Sports Science, Physiology, Health & Exercise Science, or a related field
    • Are a great communicator with excellent organisational skills
    • Are hands-on, motivated, and excited about improving health outcomes in the workplace
    • Have a full clean driving licence and access to a car
    • Want to build a career with purpose and progression

Bonus points if you have experience as an EMT, Occupational Health Technician, or in nursing, but it’s not essential. We provide full training!

    Why Medigold Health?
