Job Summary: The successful candidate will carry out workplace alcohol and drug testing as directed by the Client Service Team, delivering a proactive service to Hampton Knight and its clients that ensures an effective and competent service.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out alcohol and drug testing using the relevant paperwork and equipment, including alcohol testing, urine or oral fluid drug testing, onsite drug testing, or straight to laboratory drug testing, following strict chain-of-custody procedures.
- Conduct testing in accordance with company and Network Rail standards.
- Attend various client sites for scheduled and unscheduled testing.
- Arrive on client site within a two‑hour timeframe when activated for a call‑out.
- Provide weekly availability to the administration team; call‑outs may be offered at short notice, requiring flexibility.
- Ensure accurate completion of protocols and paperwork, collecting accurate information.
- Support the Client Services Team on process improvements where applicable.
- Promote Hampton Knight in a positive manner.
- Maintain a professional manner when speaking with clients.
Requirements:
- Experience within the alcohol and drug industry is not essential; full training will be provided.
- Full UK driving licence.
