You’ll be joining a team where your clinical judgement makes a noticeable difference to how organisations look after their people. One moment you may be offering calm, practical advice to a client navigating a difficult sickness absence case, and the next you could be advising pension trustees reviewing a complex ill health retirement claim, or supporting the implementation of a company health surveillance programme. Your work helps people find a way forward and gives employers the direction and reassurance they need.
You will have the backing of and support from friendly, highly skilled colleagues and leading‑edge technology that reduces admin tasks and makes your working day smoother, not harder. Most importantly, you will be trusted to deliver the kind of thoughtful, consistent and compassionate occupational health that we pride ourselves on, within a strong clinical governance framework. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact while growing your career in a business that values clinical excellence and human connection in equal measure.

- Producing clear, concise and professional reports supported by our industry‑leading in‑house assistive technology and using medical opinion to make evidence‑based practical recommendations.
- Liaising with our clients and other healthcare professionals to support employee health and wellbeing within the organisation.
- Ensuring the provision of occupational health services to Medigold clients and their employees is of the highest standard at all times.
What you’ll need:
- Qualified Occupational Health Physician with DipOccMed/ AFOM/ MFOM/ FFOM on the GMC register with a current licence to practise.
- Demonstrable experience in occupational health, preferably including absence case management, fitness for work assessments, and health surveillance.
- Good understanding of relevant workplace health and safety legislation, employment law and guidelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Commitment to delivering a high‑quality service and your own continuing professional development.
The benefits that we offer you:
- Joining Medigold Health means becoming part of a company that genuinely puts people at the heart of everything we do and looks after its own.
- Alongside a supportive clinical network and plenty of opportunities to develop, you will have access to a range of benefits designed to help you feel well, stay well and enjoy life outside work too.

- Appropriate support and supervision with regular clinical team meetings encouraging peer interaction and mentoring.
- Access to comprehensive professional development with frequent internal CPD opportunities in addition to a generous external study leave allowance.
