At Medigold Health, we’re on the lookout for enthusiastic, proactive individuals to join our dynamic team as Occupational Health Technicians. This is a fantastic opportunity to kickstart your career in a growing and rewarding industry.
What Does the Role Involve?
As an Occupational Health Technician, you’ll be part of a team that helps organisations look after the health and wellbeing of their employees. You’ll drive a Mobile Testing Unit to client sites to deliver a variety of health assessments that support early detection of health issues and promote long-term wellbeing at work. Your day-to-day might include:
- Carrying out health surveillance tests such as:
- Audiometry (hearing tests)
- Spirometry (lung function tests)
- Skin prick allergy testing
- Vision screening
- Venepuncture (blood draws) – we’ll give you full training
No two days are quite the same. You’ll be working independently much of the time, so being confident, organised and self-motivated is key. Throughout your role, you’ll be supported by a friendly, experienced clinical team every step of the way. This role is a great opportunity to get hands-on clinical experience, develop your skills, and build a solid foundation for a career in occupational health.
