Job Summary
The successful candidate will carry out workplace alcohol and drug testing as directed by the Client Service Team, and assist in developing a proactive service to Hampton Knight and its clients.
Main Objectives
- Carry out alcohol and drug testing using the relevant paperwork and equipment, including alcohol testing; urine or oral fluid drug testing; onsite drug testing; or straight to laboratory drug testing following strict chain of custody procedures.
- Carry out alcohol and drug testing in accordance with company and Network Rail standards.
- Attend various client sites to carry out scheduled and unscheduled testing.
- Ensure arrival on client site within a two‑hour timeframe when activated for a call‑out.
- Provide administration team with weekly availability; call‑outs may be offered at short notice, requiring flexibility.
- Ensure collection of accurate information and complete all protocols and paperwork accurately.
- Support the Client Services Team on process improvements where applicable.
- Promote Hampton Knight in a positive way.
- Maintain a professional manner when speaking with clients.
Requirements
- Experience within the alcohol and drug industry not essential; full training is provided.
- Full UK driving licence.
