As we scale our engineering team, we’re looking for an experienced Technical Recruiter to help us hire high-quality Software Engineers efficiently.
The Role
We’re looking for a highly capable Contract Technical Recruiter to take ownership of our engineering hiring pipeline over the next 3 months. This is a hands-on role for someone with strong technical understanding who can confidently assess candidate quality early, streamline our hiring process, and ensure a smooth, well-coordinated candidate experience. You will work closely with hiring managers to vet candidates, conduct initial technical screening, and manage the end-to-end recruitment process.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and vet CVs for Software Engineering roles, filtering for technical quality
- Conduct initial technical screening interviews to assess candidate suitability
- Own and manage the end-to-end recruitment pipeline (sourcing → offer)
- Coordinate interview stages (e.g. culture, technical) and ensure stakeholder availability
- Act as the central point of coordination across hiring managers and interviewers
- Maintain clean, accurate candidate data and pipeline hygiene
- Drive process efficiency and ensure candidates progress smoothly through stages
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. CTO, Engineering Managers, Recruiters & Talent Manager) on hiring decisions
About You
- Strong experience recruiting for technical roles (e.g. Software Engineers)
- Sufficient technical knowledge to confidently screen and reject candidates early
- Background as a Technical Recruiter, Engineering Manager, or Tech Lead is highly desirable
- Proven ability to manage and optimise hiring pipelines end-to-end
- Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable “owning the process”
- Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote environment

- Duration: 3-month freelance contract

- Compensation: Competitive day rate / fixed contract (benchmarked to experience)
