We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Inbound Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing team. This role focuses on engaging and qualifying inbound leads, identifying potential opportunities, and driving pipeline growth. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at building relationships, and is passionate about connecting prospects with solutions that meet their needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to inbound inquiries and leads generated through marketing campaigns, website forms, events, and other channels.
- Qualify leads based on defined criteria to determine their fit for our products or services.
- Conduct initial discovery calls to understand the prospect\’s business needs, challenges, and goals.
- Educate prospects on our solutions and articulate the value they bring to solving their specific problems.
- Collaborate with the sales team to schedule meetings and seamlessly hand off qualified leads.
- Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions and activities in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce).
- Provide feedback to marketing and sales teams to optimize lead generation and qualification processes.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for lead qualification and pipeline contribution.
Your Experience & Competencies
- Bachelor\’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Evidence of experience in a sales, business development, or a related role (experience with inbound lead management is a plus).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Fluency in French, German or Spanish would be ideal, but is not essential for these roles – please apply if you do not speak these languages.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple leads simultaneously.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a results-oriented mindset.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement platforms.
- A passion for understanding customer needs and providing solutions that drive success.
