Your Mission:

The Project Management Function is responsible for the overall relationship management of client accounts and day-to-day activities. The function also ensures that Medidata is able to deliver quality projects and services on time and within budget through effective management of Medidata resources.

  • Support the project manager in their project delivery needs and to ensure that all deliverables are tracked and that documentation is current.
  • Support the project manager in the management of client expectations.
  • Support the project manager by helping monitor project scope, timelines, budget & milestones, issues & risks.
  • Support the project manager by helping monitor project financials, project budget and accuracy of invoicing.
  • Support the project manager in the creation and maintenance of accurate and current project documentation.
  • Support the project manager in raising and tracking work requests to other departments and capture minutes/action items during client and internal meetings.
  • Support the project manager with issue and risk tracking and work with the project manager and other resources to ensure timely resolution.
  • Provide proactive communication to all stakeholders.
  • Assure compliance with Medidata’s standard project management methodologies and Medidata Quality Management System.
  • May be asked to act as a Project Manager on simpler projects with the support of more senior team members.

Your Competencies:

  • Preference for a basic understanding of clinical research (pharma/device/biotech) and of clinical research SaaS technology.
  • Demonstrate good verbal/written communication and organizational skills.
  • Exhibit time management skills along with strong collaboration and teamwork.
  • Experience in supporting project teams and meeting project timelines is preferred.
  • Self-motivated and able to assume responsibility in a professional manner.
  • Demonstrate basic computer skills.
  • Experience with the MS Office suite and/or other current software technologies.
  • Experience with creating and delivering presentations.
