MedicsPro is recruiting for a well-established private MDT in London seeking a HCPC-registered OT to support children and young people across school-based settings. This role is ideal for candidates who:
- conduct EHCP assessment & advice (writing input, outcomes, provision)
- practise sensory processing / sensory integration-informed practice
- enhance functional skills (fine motor, handwriting, self-care, independence)
- collaborate with schools, SENCOs, parents & MDTs
Location: London (school-based caseload)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform OT assessments and intervention planning for CYP with SEND
- Produce reports for EHCPs / annual reviews and provide practical recommendations
- Deliver staff training and strategy support for schools (classroom adaptations)
- Maintain parent liaison and design goal-focused therapy programmes
Requirements
- HCPC registration (Occupational Therapist)
- Paediatric/SEND experience (schools/EHCP experience highly desirable)
