Urgent Permanent Opportunity | Deputy Radiology Manager | Oxford
MedicsPro is supporting a client in Oxford who is looking to appoint a Deputy Radiology Manager (Permanent) in a busy multi-modality imaging department (covering 7 clinical areas/modalities).
This role is ideal for:
- A Senior Radiographer ready to step into management
- Someone already at Deputy level seeking a fresh challenge
- Anyone wanting long-term progression in a high-performing department
What you'll be doing (mix of operational + clinical):
- Supporting the Radiology Manager with day-to-day operational oversight
- Staffing support and departmental coordination
- Clinical leadership and maintaining patient care standards
- Training & development of radiographers
- Audit, governance, compliance & risk assessments
- Radiation protection, H&S and infection control
- Supporting new equipment implementation and service development
Requirements
- HCPC registered Radiographer
- Senior/supervisory/managerial experience
- Strong communication + organisation
- Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
Salary: Up to £50,000 (DOE)
Interview: Ideally face-to-face
Start: ASAP preferred (but can wait for the right person depending on notice)
