Locum Occupational Therapist (Band 7) – Neurorehabilitation Service

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Band 7 Locum Occupational Therapist to join our Neurorehabilitation Service at Woodlands in York. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic multidisciplinary team, providing high-quality rehabilitation for individuals with complex neurological conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialist occupational therapy assessments and interventions for neurorehab patients.
  • Work collaboratively with physiotherapists, speech and language therapists, and medical staff to ensure holistic care.
  • Support discharge planning and liaise with community services.
  • Contribute to service development and maintain clinical standards.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Significant experience in neurorehabilitation at Band 6 or Band 7 level.
  • Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Start Date: Immediate

Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
