On top of Medics Pro\’s search for NHS Consultants to be part of our Insourcing teams, we are looking for experienced NHS Consultants who are willing to be a clinical lead for their specific speciality. We are looking for leads in the following specialties:
Anaesthetics
Cardiology
Colorectal
Dermatology
ENT
Endoscopy
Gastro
Haematology
OMF
Ophthalmology
Plastics
Radiology
Respiratory
Rheumatology
Urology
You do not need to involved on a day to day basis, but will be used in more of an advisory role as and when needed:
Name and GMC number se for tenders, paperwork etc
Address concerns of day to day running, how to improve service, productivity etc
Analyse date to target areas of improvement
Address clinical complaints with the Medics Pro Lead
Point of contact for clinical staff
Potential advice on CV reviewing and approval
Be part of quarterly clinician reviews with Medics Pro Lead
You can be as involved as much or little as you want with the clinical duties.
In order to apply you must be:
An NHS Consultant with specialist registration / CCT
Minimum 5 years substantively employed in the NHS, ideally NHS trained
Proven track record of service improvement and leadership projects.
