Locum Paediatric Dietitian – Band 7/8a
Location: Remote or Onsite (Flexible)
Hours: Up to 37.5 hours per week (Monday–Friday, 09:00–17:00)
We are seeking an experienced Paediatric Dietitian to join our team on a locum basis. This role focuses on a specialist paediatric caseload, with an emphasis on managing complex cases of selective eating.
You will play a key role in leading the dietetic management of these cases, helping to mitigate risk of harm. This support will allow the clinical/service lead to focus on investigative and long-term planning elements, including risk mitigation as part of an FTP case.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently manage a caseload of children with complex selective eating issues.
- Provide expert assessment and intervention to support nutritional and behavioural outcomes.
- Contribute to risk management and safeguarding processes.
- Liaise with multidisciplinary teams and families to deliver coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with service protocols.
Requirements:
- Significant experience in paediatric dietetics, including selective eating.
- Confidence in managing complex cases independently.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
