MedicsPro is recruiting on behalf of a leading specialist neuro provider opening a new specialist neurological care home in North London. The services support adults with ABI, complex neurological conditions and neurodisability in an on-site, MDT-led environment.
The Role
We are seeking a Clinical Psychologist/Neuropsychologist with neuro/ABI experience to deliver high-quality assessment and intervention supporting residents’ wellbeing, adjustment, cognition and behaviour. You will work closely with the MDT to create formulation-led, trauma-informed approaches to care.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver psychological and/or neuropsychological assessment (as appropriate to role).
- Provide evidence-based interventions for ABI/complex neuro (adjustment, mood, trauma, behaviour support as appropriate).
- Develop formulations and contribute to MDT care planning, safeguarding and risk management.
- Provide consultation, reflective practice and training to staff teams to support psychologically informed care.
- Support families/carers with education and guidance where appropriate.
- Maintain high-quality records and reports aligned to professional standards.
- Contribute to clinical governance, audit and service development.
Essential Criteria
- HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist (Clinical Psychology or equivalent).
- Demonstrable experience in neurorehabilitation/ABI/complex neurological services.
- Strong MDT consultation skills and robust clinical reasoning.
- Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).
- Fully on-site working (no remote/hybrid).
Desirable
- Specialist neuropsychology experience (cognitive assessment/rehab) and/or PBS experience.
- Experience supervising assistant psychologists and supporting pathway development.
