Why this role?
- Work in well‑resourced, purpose‑built settings with access to therapy spaces and a committed MDT (neuropsychiatry, nursing, OT, physio, SALT, assistants).
- Impact at scale: blend neurorehabilitation with longer‑term pathways, shaping outcomes for adults with ABI/TBI, stroke, FND, neurodegenerative and complex neurobehavioural presentations.
- Flexibility to match your strengths—clinical caseload, service development, supervision, and QI projects.
- Clear progression, robust CPD & supervision, and an inclusive, values‑driven culture.
What you’ll do
- Deliver comprehensive neuropsychological assessments (psychometrics, functional/cognitive profiling, capacity assessments).
- Lead on formulation‑driven interventions: cognitive rehab, compensatory strategies, mood/adjustment work, behavioural support planning, family/carer input.
- Collaborate within the MDT to set goals, review progress and optimise outcomes using standardised measures.
- Provide supervision/teaching (e.g., Assistant Psychologists/therapy staff) and contribute to audit, research and service development.
What you’ll bring
- HCPC registration (Practitioner Psychologist: Clinical/Counselling/Health with neuro experience) and postgraduate training/experience in clinical neuropsychology.
- Confidence with complex presentations (e.g., executive/behavioural change, reduced insight, co‑morbid mental health).
- Excellent communication, report writing and MDT leadership skills.
- A compassionate, person‑centred approach aligned to best practice and measurable outcomes.
What’s on offer
- Competitive pay (Band 7–8a equivalent, DOE) + benefits.
- Flexible patterns (FT/PT) and potential to shape the service around your specialist interests.
- Strong professional development pathway (specialist CPD, protected supervision, QI exposure).
