About the Role
Locum Specialist Paediatric Dietitian (Band 6/7) – Remote – Full time (37.5 hrs)
Responsibilities:
- Assess, treat and evaluate paediatric patients with complex needs; create tailored care plans.
- Lead precise calculations and monitoring for special diets and paediatric enteral feeds (incl. HEF).
- Run paediatric outpatient clinics and contribute to MDTs (diabetes, metabolic, allergy).
- Coordinate safe, well‑planned community care and follow‑up, including discharge and equipment.
- Collaborate with nursing, medical, GP and catering teams; develop evidence‑based patient information.
Qualifications:
- Confident autonomous practitioner in paediatric dietetics with excellent communication skills.
Required Skills:
- Skilled in anthropometrics, interpreting biochemistry and complex nutritional calculations.
- Governance‑minded, organised and comfortable with changing priorities.
