About the role
MedicsPro is recruiting an experienced Neurological Physiotherapistfor an ongoing locum assignment within a specialist adult rehabilitation service in Kent.
You will manage a neurological caseload and deliver individualised rehabilitation focused on mobility, physical function, independence and meaningful clinical goals.
Working alongside an established multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to assessments, rehabilitation planning, clinical reviews and discharge planning.
Key responsibilities
- Complete comprehensive physiotherapy assessments
- Develop and deliver individual rehabilitation programmes
- Support mobility, transfers, balance, strength and functional independence
- Agree measurable rehabilitation goals with patients and the multidisciplinary team
- Monitor progress and adapt treatment plans when required
- Assess mobility, positioning and equipment needs
- Contribute to multidisciplinary meetings and clinical reviews
- Participate in discharge and onward-care planning
- Maintain accurate clinical records and outcome measures
- Provide guidance to rehabilitation assistants and other team members where appropriate
- Work in accordance with professional standards, local policies and individual risk-management plans
Applicants must have:
- Current HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist
- Relevant post-registration experience in neurological rehabilitation
- Experience supporting adults with complex physical and functional needs
- Strong neurological assessment and treatment-planning skills
- Confidence managing an allocated caseload
- Effective multidisciplinary working and communication skills
- Accurate clinical documentation and record-keeping
- The right to work in the UK
- Availability to complete all required compliance checks before starting
Experience involving acquired brain injury, stroke, spinal injury or progressive neurological conditions would be particularly relevant.

- Hours: Full-time preferred
- Working arrangement: On-site
- Start: As soon as onboarding and compliance are completed
- Rate: Confirmed and agreed before your CV is submitted
