The Role

We are seeking a friendly, professional, and highly organised Receptionist to join our front-of-house team. As the first point of contact for patients, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment and ensuring the smooth running of daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greeting patients and visitors with warmth and professionalism
  • Managing appointment bookings via telephone, online, and in person
  • Handling patient queries and directing them to the appropriate services
  • Maintaining accurate records and updating patient information systems
  • Supporting clinicians and administrative staff with day-to-day tasks
  • Ensuring confidentiality and compliance with NHS policies

About You

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
  • Confident in using IT systems (training provided for NHS software)
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure in a busy environment
  • Previous experience in a healthcare or customer service role is desirable but not essential
