About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join a specialist team supporting children and young people within educational settings. The successful candidate will work with children experiencing sensory processing difficulties, motor coordination challenges, and emotional well-being needs, delivering high-quality, evidence-based interventions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct occupational therapy assessments and prepare reports.
- Develop and deliver personalised intervention plans.
- Support children with sensory, motor, and emotional needs.
- Work closely with families, schools, and professionals.
- Maintain accurate records and monitor progress.
Requirements
- Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- HCPC registration.
- Minimum 2 years' paediatric occupational therapy experience.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Desirable Requirements
- Experience supporting students or junior staff.
- Sensory Integration Module 2 qualification (or equivalent experience).
- ADOS-2 qualification or willingness to undertake training.
