We are seeking an experienced Lift Engineer / LOLER Inspector to carry out statutory inspections and assessments on a wide range of lifting equipment. The role requires a high standard of safety awareness, technical competence, and customer service.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Carry out statutory LOLER and insurance inspections on lifting equipment
  • Attend client sites and issue detailed inspection reports
  • Complete condition surveys of existing lift installations
  • Assess compliance with Health & Safety and DDA regulations
  • Provide recommendations for refurbishment or replacement solutions
  • Conduct equipment and maintenance audits
  • Diagnose faults and assess lift performance
  • Complete all certification and paperwork accurately and on time
  • Travel independently to customer sites as required
  • Maintain up-to-date product and technical knowledge
  • Work safely at all times and deliver excellent customer service

Requirements (Essential)

  • Proven experience in lift servicing, maintenance, and inspections
  • Ability to work independently in a customer-facing environment
  • Strong understanding of current Health & Safety regulations
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Full UK driving licence

Compliance Requirements (Mandatory)

  • No sponsorship available – applicants must already have the right to work in the UK
  • Right to Work share code (required if you are not a British passport holder)
  • DBS check – valid DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one
