We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England, to join our new Mental Health Social Work team in Adult Social Care. With a deep understanding of the Care Act 2014 and current mental health legislation, you will promote the best interests of residents and carers, assess situations, and take appropriate action based on your professional knowledge and experience. You will champion a strengths‐based approach to Social Work and actively contribute to a collaborative and reflective team environment. An Enhanced DBS is required for this role.
As part of the Mental Health Social Work Team at the London Borough of Camden, you will manage a social care workload, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and provide community‑based mental health social work. Your role includes conducting needs assessments, creating care plans, safeguarding vulnerable adults, and engaging in crisis management.
