We are seeking an experienced Lift Engineer / LOLER Inspector to carry out statutory inspections and assessments on a wide range of lifting equipment. The role requires a high standard of safety awareness, technical competence, and customer service.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
- Carry out statutory LOLER and insurance inspections on lifting equipment
- Attend client sites and issue detailed inspection reports
- Complete condition surveys of existing lift installations
- Assess compliance with Health & Safety and DDA regulations
- Provide recommendations for refurbishment or replacement solutions
- Conduct equipment and maintenance audits
- Diagnose faults and assess lift performance
- Complete all certification and paperwork accurately and on time
- Travel independently to customer sites as required
- Maintain up-to-date product and technical knowledge
- Work safely at all times and deliver excellent customer service
Requirements (Essential)
- Proven experience in lift servicing, maintenance, and inspections
- Ability to work independently in a customer-facing environment
- Strong understanding of current Health & Safety regulations
- Good written and spoken English
- Full UK driving licence
