We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Man to join our residential home team in Birmingham. The successful candidate will ensure the property is safe, well-maintained, and comfortable for all residents.
Position Details
- Location: Birmingham, UK
- Salary: £15 per hour
- Total work hour: 6 hours per day
- Employment Type: Full-time / Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine repairs and maintenance across the home (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, etc.)
- Conduct regular safety checks and inspections of equipment and facilities
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and residents
- Maintain outdoor areas, including gardens and pathways
- Liaise with external contractors when specialist work is required
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
Requirements
- Previous experience in general maintenance or a similar role
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
