We are seeking an experienced Lift Engineer to carry out statutory inspections and assessments on a wide range of lifting equipment. The role requires a high level of safety awareness, strong technical expertise, and excellent customer service skills.
Tasks:
- Carry out statutory LOLER and insurance inspections on lifting equipment
- Attend client sites and issue detailed inspection reports
- Complete condition surveys of existing lift installations
- Assess compliance with Health & Safety and DDA regulations
- Provide recommendations for refurbishment or replacement solutions
- Conduct equipment and maintenance audits
- Diagnose faults and assess lift performance
- Complete all certification and paperwork accurately and on time
- Travel independently to customer sites
- Maintain up-to-date technical and product knowledge
- Work safely at all times and deliver excellent customer service
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience in lift servicing, maintenance, and inspections
- Ability to work independently in a customer-facing environment
- Strong knowledge of current Health & Safety regulations
- Good written and spoken English
- Full UK driving licence
Compliance Requirements (Mandatory):
- No sponsorship available – applicants must already have the right to work in the UK
- Valid passport
- Right to Work share code (if not a British passport holder)
- Valid DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one
