About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Children’s Registered Manager to lead a children’s residential home, ensuring high-quality care, safeguarding, and positive outcomes for children and young people.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day‑to‑day operations of the home
  • Lead and supervise residential support staff
  • Ensure safeguarding and Ofsted compliance
  • Complete care planning and risk assessments
  • Support positive behaviour strategies
  • Manage incidents, complaints, and safeguarding concerns
  • Maintain health & safety standards
  • Liaise with Ofsted and external professionals
  • Ensure accurate reports and records are maintained

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ residential childcare experience
  • Minimum 2 years’ management/supervisory experience
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
  • Level 5 Diploma (or willing to work towards)
  • Knowledge of Children’s Homes Regulations
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence
