We’re offering a stimulating and rewarding career pathway for an experienced research professional looking to contribute to the development of tomorrow’s medicines. You will join a successful MHRA Phase I Accredited Unit with an international reputation, working with leading pharmaceutical and biotech companies in the UK and internationally.
The role involves leading and coordinating research initiatives that support our strategic priorities, focusing on patient engagement, external partnerships and innovative recruitment strategies. Working closely with our patient recruitment and marketing teams, you will help strengthen our research network and enhance clinical trial delivery. This role is ideal for someone with excellent communication skills, strong organisational ability and experience in research, healthcare or stakeholder-facing environments.
Key aspects of the role include:
- Leading research development activities across multiple clinical studies
- Working collaboratively with the patient recruitment and marketing teams to deliver targeted outreach
- Building partnerships with GPs, NHS sites and community organisations
- Supporting innovative patient identification and engagement strategies
- Representing MEU at community events, health fairs and conferences
- Coordinating patient referrals and ensuring regulatory compliance
- Contributing to continuous improvement in research processes and outreach
Experience we’re looking for:
- Experience in clinical research, healthcare engagement or community-based outreach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Confidence working with external partners such as GPs, NHS teams and patient groups
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively across teams
- Experience in public-facing roles, marketing support or stakeholder engagement
- Understanding of clinical trials, GCP or healthcare governance
- A proactive, organised and people-focused approach
