About the Role

A clinical trials organisation is seeking a Full Stack Developer to support the design, development, and maintenance of secure, high-quality software solutions. The successful candidate will work across the full development lifecycle in a regulated environment, ensuring all work is delivered in line with SOPs, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to balance teamwork with independent ownership of assigned work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain WinForms and web-based applications and internal systems across the full stack
  • Build and support APIs and related integrations
  • Work within a regulated clinical trials environment, following SOPs and applicable compliance requirements
  • Contribute to secure software design, development, testing, and deployment
  • Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes, including Jenkins
  • Support observability and monitoring practices using Open Telemetry, Loki and Grafana
  • Write efficient, maintainable code and support code reviews and testing activities
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including operations, QA, and stakeholders
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks and manage workload effectively to meet deadlines
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve software issues in a timely manner
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation where required

Required Skills and Experience

  • Strong experience with C#
  • Experience with .NET Framework and .NET Core
  • Knowledge of Entity Framework
  • Strong SQL Server development skills
  • Experience with API development and integration
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD practices and Jenkins
  • Experience with observability tools and practices, including Open Telemetry, Loki and Grafana
  • Understanding of software security principles and secure coding practices
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience working in a team environment within an Agile or collaborative delivery model
  • Ability to work independently, take responsibility for workload, and deliver to deadlines
