The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) enhances and improves the health of millions of people each day through the effective regulation of medicines and medical devices. The Strategic Programme Delivery team, part of the Strategy Group, supports the Executive Committee and business owners to deliver strategic change. We are currently looking for a Senior Project Support Officer to join our Strategic Programme Delivery team. The role is full‑time on a permanent basis and will be based in 10 South Colonnade, Canary Wharf, London, E14 4PU.

Reporting to the Head of Strategic Programme Management, the postholder will support the coordination and delivery of strategic priorities, including governance and reporting, risk and issue management, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Executive administration – coordinate the Director of Delivery’s diary, meeting cadence and wider team activity.
  • Programme Management Support – track and monitor Agency programmes and projects, oversee programme reporting for governance and decision‑making.
  • Stakeholder Management – build and maintain strong working relationships across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Organisational change support – enable change management and service design through engagement with impacted business areas.
  • Data and Reporting – manage data and oversee production of accurate, timely reporting for the Director of Delivery, ExCo and governance forums.
  • Risks & Issues – track, manage and mitigate strategic risks, working with stakeholders across the Agency to identify and raise issues.
Person Specification
  • Demonstrable project delivery experience, e.g. in Programme Management or a fast‑paced support role within a strategic delivery environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
  • Ability to deliver at pace and work collaboratively.
  • Excellent IT skills – use of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and databases.
