We are currently looking for a Learning & Development Coordinator to join our People Function within the Corporate group. This is a full-time opportunity, on a permanent basis. The role will be based in 10 South Colonnade, Canary Wharf London, E14 4PU. Government departments and agencies are working towards implementing a minimum 60% attendance in office sites. We are currently implementing a flexible, hybrid way of working, with a minimum of 8 days per month working on site to enable the collaboration and contact with partners and stakeholders needed to deliver MHRA business. Attendance on site is driven by business needs so depending on the nature of the role, this can flex up to 12 days a month, with the remainder of time worked either remotely or in the office. Some roles will need to be on site more regularly.
The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency enhances and improves the health of millions of people every day through the effective regulation of medicines and medical devices, underpinned by science and research. The People function is part of the Corporate Group, along with Finance, Commercial and Infrastructure and Laboratory Services functions which are led by the Chief Finance Officer. The People function is separately led by the Chief People Officer, who is a member of the Unitary Board. The role sits within the newly established MHRA Academy team which is a new and exciting initiative aiming to set standards for MHRA Regulatory training and accreditation ensuring that the learning and development provided to key front-line colleagues is of the highest quality. Reporting to the Academy Lead, this pivotal role will provide comprehensive learning and development based operational and business support to ensure that all projects related to the successful design, implementation, and delivery of the Academy curriculum and products are delivered on time. This role will provide an ideal opportunity for a highly organised individual early in their learning and development professional career who is looking to consolidate and develop their knowledge and skills around all aspects of the learning cycle.
Key responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Coordination - including the development and maintenance of project plans, progress tracking of deliverables, stakeholder management and the organisation and prioritisation of key actions and coordinating the end to end delivery of curriculum content across assessor and inspector streams.
- Learning Management System (LMS) Support - Working with the Curriculum Manager to utilise LMS functionality to ensure an optimal learner experience. Collating, analysing, and interpreting learning and performance data, including the preparation of high-quality dashboards and reports to support continuous improvement and compliance requirements.
- Communications and Knowledge Management - including drafting and disseminating communications to promote the Academy's work, including internal newsletters, updates, and campaign material and overseeing content updates and knowledge sharing through internal platforms ensuring materials are accurate, engaging, and accessible.
- Stakeholder Engagement - Acting as the central coordination point for internal and external Academy stakeholders and preparing professional, audience-tailored presentations, briefings, and meeting packs to support engagement and communication.
