Job Summary

We are currently looking for a Craftsperson (Calibration) to join our Infrastructure & Laboratory Services within the Corporate group. This is a full-time, permanent position based onsite in South Mimms, Hertfordshire, UK.

Division Overview

Infrastructure and Laboratory Services (ILS) provides engineering and specialist staff to ensure a safe working environment, support scientific facilities, and deliver maintenance programs. The division includes:

• Facilities & Laboratory Services
• Specialist Engineering
• Specialist Project & Programme Management

Job Description

The role involves providing calibration services for site cold storage equipment, supporting maintenance, and ensuring compliance with legal and safety standards. Responsibilities include calibration of building management system sensors, maintenance coordination, fault investigation, and support for controls systems.

Person Specification

Successful candidates will have:

• An engineering apprenticeship with NVQ Level 2/BTEC or equivalent experience
• Understanding of H&S regulations
• Experience with control systems and engineering equipment
• Strong organizational skills
