We are currently looking for a Business Support Advisor to join our Authorisation Lifecycle Function within the Healthcare Quality & Access group. This is a full‑time permanent opportunity. The role will be based in 10 South Colonnade, Canary Wharf, London, E14 4PU. We are working towards a 60% minimum attendance in office sites. A flexible, hybrid working model is in place, with a minimum of 8 days per month onsite to support collaboration and stakeholder engagement. Depending on the nature of the role, onsite days can flex up to 12 days a month.
The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) works to enhance and improve public health through effective regulation of medicines and medical devices, supported by science and research. The Healthcare Quality & Access portfolio drives quality and critically appraises benefits and risks to inform robust decisions on healthcare access, including accelerated access pathways. It brings together capabilities across medicines and medical devices to enable licensing, market access and regulatory compliance. The Authorisation Lifecycle function is an enabler central to the frontline HQA group, providing data assurance, high‑volume certification work, and coordination and support across the product lifecycle.
The successful candidate will manage shared procedural pathway mailboxes, ensuring timely triage, accurate responses, and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders while maintaining accurate product information and records. The role also involves overseeing and managing Standard & Compliance, HQA & Authorisation Lifecycle projects, and supporting the MHRA Cross‑UK Information Sharing process.
Key responsibilities:- Monitoring and management of dedicated ACCESS and ORBIS mailboxes.
- Ensure accurate records and audit trails for all workflow tracking systems and procedures.
- Support office‑based assessments as required in accordance with the documented quality system, ensuring any issues are dealt with in an appropriate and timely manner.
- Provide advice to stakeholders regarding inspection planning activities.
- Maintain accurate records and audit trails for all workflow tracking systems, procedure spreadsheets, secure information channels and databases to the highest standard.
