Position: A full‑time, 12‑month fixed‑term role (contract, internal move, loan or temporary promotion) based at 10 South Colonnade, Canary Wharf, London (E14 4PU).
Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of the AI Airlock programme, engaging with academic networks, developers of AI, regulatory experts and clinicians.
- Provide technical and regulatory expertise for the AI‑Airlock project.
- Work with cross‑functional teams across MHRA and external stakeholders to advance the project.
- Ensure project objectives are achieved in partnership with operational expertise and management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, medicine or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrable leadership experience with a proven track record of leading teams and projects.
- Strong understanding of UK MDR 2002, SaMD guidance and other relevant regulations.
- Experience in developing regulatory policy within healthcare, or similar.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
