Purpose of this role
Your role will be critical in supporting the achievement of ambitious growth targets. Working across all social media channels, you will assist the Social Media Manager in creating and delivering engaging content that increases brand awareness and drives traffic to our website. You will support the day-to-day management of our social media platforms, helping to grow our audience and improve engagement.
Role and Responsibilities
- Support the Social Media Manager and wider marketing team across both Medichecks and Leger brands in developing and implementing social media strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Create, schedule, and post engaging content tailored for social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
- Build and nurture a positive online community across all channels, promptly responding to comments and direct messages, initiating meaningful conversations, and encouraging discussions aligned with brand values.
- Conduct influencer outreach, collaboration, and content partnerships as guided by the Social Media Manager and Marketing Manager.
- Track and report on social media performance using tools such as Metricool and Linktree.
- Stay up to date with social media trends and suggest creative ideas to enhance engagement.
- Conduct competitor research to inform content strategies.
Skills and Experience
- A relevant degree or at least a year’s experience in a hands-on marketing role.
- A strong interest in health and wellness.
- Experience with working across social media channels and using tools such as Metricool, Linktree, Facebook Ads Manager, Instagram Insights, and Google Analytics.
- Experience writing engaging copy for multiple marketing channels and audiences.
- Good communication skills and excellent written English.
- Highly organised with good attention to detail.
- Positive, can-do attitude and a self-starter.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, agile environment.
- Digital curiosity and keen to learn at pace.
- A logical thinker who is comfortable working with complex data sets.
- Proficiency across Adobe Creative Cloud essential.
