This is an exciting opportunity for a budding graphic designer to join our small but growing creative team. You’ll work closely with our in-house marketing team to help bring ideas to life across a mix of digital and print channels—think web, social media, email, packaging, and more. You will support the design of engaging visuals for both direct-to-consumer and B2B audiences—working on Medichecks as well as the partner brands, such as Leger. You’ll also get the chance to contribute to internal projects, including recruitment campaigns and event materials.

We’re looking for someone with a good eye for design, a willingness to learn, and plenty of enthusiasm for turning creative ideas into brilliant visual content—with support every step of the way. You’ll be joining Medichecks, a growing group of companies, but your role will be based within Leger, one of our key partner companies. This means you’ll get to experience the best of both worlds—benefiting from the resources of the wider Medichecks group while contributing directly to Leger’s exciting growth and creative goals.

Role and responsibilities:

  • Assist with creating visuals for web, social media, and email to help promote key events like Black Friday and Summer Sales.
  • Support the design of campaign materials for projects like Don’t shh me and Missing T.
  • Help prepare assets for our B2B sales team, including presentation decks and event stands.
  • Aid in delivering clear and engaging service messages across different platforms.
  • Get involved with white label projects, helping design for other brands within the group.

Skills and Experience:

  • A degree in Graphic Design or appropriate subject.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma.
  • Great understanding of working to brand identity.
  • Some experience in creating marketing campaigns and supporting marketing materials across social media, email, and paid media.
  • Some experience in designing email marketing templates with HTML / CSS.
  • Ability to work closely with key stakeholders across Medichecks, external brands and agencies.
  • An interest in video work would also be advantageous.

How we work:

We have adopted a flexible hybrid approach to working in both the office and at home, having seen the benefits of both for everyone during the last year. You will predominantly work from home, but sometimes we will get together to collaborate, or for 121s. We offer flexible working around our core business hours and trust you to work enough hours to do your job well, at times that suit you and your team.

People, perks and culture:

We are committed to making Medichecks a great place to work and have shaped our people strategy around our colleagues’ feedback and we are continuously reviewing this. As well as a competitive salary and the chance to make a real impact in an organisation, here’s a taste of some of the things we offer:

  • 25 days of glorious holidays, plus all of the bank holidays.
  • The option to buy and sell holiday.
  • Hybrid working - working anywhere from the UK.
  • The option to switch your workplace pension to a salary sacrifice scheme.
  • Flexi lunch breaks – grab lunch with a friend or hit the gym.
  • Enhanced maternity and paternity leave, as part of our family friendly policies.
  • Enhanced paid sickness leave.
  • Free and discounted Medichecks blood tests for you and your family and friends.
  • Free access to an online GP service.
  • Free eye tests and flu jabs.
  • Access to discounts and freebies through our reward platform.
  • 2 days of paid leave to give some of your time to a charity or community of your choice.

Our Values:

  • Make A Difference: We all share one dream to make blood testing simple so that we can benefit everyone’s health. We’re not about being overcomplicated; we want to do the right thing (even when it’s not easy) and positively impact people’s health.
  • Respect Everyone: We’re inclusive, and we treat all people with kindness and respect. We value everyone’s opinion and go above and beyond to support our colleagues, clients, customers - and anyone else we meet along the way.
