A busy, well-regarded cellular pathology department just outside London is seeking a Consultant Histopathologist with subspecialty interest in GI, urology and gynaecological pathology. Join a supportive MDT environment with strong scope for service development.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurate, timely reporting across GI, urology and gynae specimens
- MDT input and collaboration with surgery, oncology, gastroenterology and gynaecology
- Reporting to RCPath standards; contribute to QA, audit and CPD
- Supervise/train junior staff, BMS and trainees as required
- Participate in on-call rota; maintain governance/CPD compliance
Essential Requirements
- Full GMC registration with licence to practise
- On GMC Specialist Register in Histopathology (or within 6 months of CCT), or equivalent
- FRCPath or equivalent
- Demonstrable subspecialty experience in GI, urology and/or gynae pathology
- Right to work in the UK
