Night Nurse Nursing Home | Penzance
£26.40 - £29.30 per hour | Nights only
Overtime pay: £39.51 - £43.89 per hour
Weekend enhancement included (+£1.50/hr)
Proper staffing on nights means less stress and more time to nurse properly. You’ll have another staff nurse on shift, strong handovers, and a home that takes nights as seriously as days, so you’re not left firefighting or carrying the shift alone.
The Role
You’ll deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care overnight, supporting residents with complex needs and ensuring dignity, comfort and clinical standards throughout the night. The home supports a high proportion of residents living with dementia, so reassurance, structure and calm clinical judgement are essential.
What You’ll Have in Place
You’ll start each shift with clear handovers, so you’re never left guessing. With solid staffing levels, you can focus on care rather than chasing tasks. You’ll also use electronic care planning and eMAR medication systems, supporting safer medicines management and better continuity.
