Band 5 Registered Nurses, Midwives, ITU Nurses, Accident & Emergency Nurses.
Role Description
This is a part-time and remote role for a Registered General Nurse (RGN) at Medicare People. The RGN will be responsible for providing high-quality candidate interviews to nursing and healthcare assistant candidates. As this stage we are looking for a part time worker who can conduct interviews on a part time basis, probably between the hours of 10am and 2pm, Monday to Friday. Based on the part time and remote nature of this role, a qualified RGN who is looking to balance being a part time working mum could be an ideal candidate.
In addition to the candidate interviews part of the role, we would also like to invite the RGN to occasional client calls with our Director to hep sell our temporary recruitments services into care home clients, by proving high quality input on how our candidates are interviewed and how e uphold the highest standards in patient centred care.
The successful candidate will report directly to our Head of Nursing, who will also support with training and overall nursing governance.
This is an exciting role for the right candidate, ideally with lots of experience as an RGN, capable of applying their experience and knowledge to the practicality of interviewing and assessing other RGN\’s and HCA\’s.
Qualifications
- Registered General Nurse qualification
- Experience in providing nursing care within care homes and hospitals
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Flexibility in working part time
- Knowledge of national healthcare frameworks and regulations is a benefit
- Current NMC Pin certification is a must
