You’ll need to understand what’s holding the home back, give the team clear direction and help people feel confident in the care they’re delivering. You’ll have the authority to make decisions, with the backing and resources to put them into practice. If you’ve led a turnaround before, you’ll know how much that matters. You can spend your time working with the team, following through on improvements and seeing those changes take hold. There’s scope to develop the home too, building local relationships, growing occupancy and exploring new care pathways where the home can meet a need.
