Delphi Care Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a growing children's residential care provider seeking a passionate and dedicated Senior Residential Support Worker to join their team.
This is an opportunity to combine hands-on care with leadership responsibilities, helping to create a safe, nurturing environment where children and young people can thrive. You'll play a key role in supporting positive outcomes while helping to guide and develop the wider team.
The Role
As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will:
- Lead shifts and support the day-to-day running of the home
- Provide high-quality, child-centred care and emotional support
- Support children to develop confidence, independence and life skills
- Mentor and support Residential Support Workers on shift
- Promote safeguarding and safe working practices
- Contribute to care planning and positive outcomes for young people
About You
We're looking for someone with:
- Experience within a children's residential care setting
- Senior RSW experience, or the ambition to step into a senior role
- Strong safeguarding knowledge and professional judgement
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Resilience and the ability to remain calm under pressure
- A genuine passion for improving outcomes for children and young people
