Come and Support Lizzy!
We're looking for caring, enthusiastic Support Workers to join Lizzy's team in Moray.
Lizzy is a fun-loving, friendly and active young woman who enjoys music, socialising and being part of her local community. She is passionate about living independently in her own home and is looking for support from people who can help her continue building her confidence and independence.
Your role will involve supporting Lizzy with daily living skills, attending local clubs and activities, enjoying walks, visiting local attractions, and helping her stay connected with friends. Lizzy is very sociable and enjoys getting out and about, so no two days are ever quite the same.
Some parts of Lizzy's day are structured around established routines, so patience, consistency, and understanding are important. Full training and shadowing will be provided before you begin, ensuring you feel confident and supported in your role.
About the Role:
This is a varied, rewarding role where you can make a genuine difference every day. You will support people with a range of additional support needs, including learning disabilities, autism and physical disabilities, both in their own homes and within their local communities.
Our aim is to support people to live as independently and confidently as possible, while enjoying a full and meaningful life.
While experience is desirable, we are keen to hear from people with the right values and attitudes.
Flexibility
We recognise that flexibility looks different for everyone. That's why many of our services offer predictable rolling rotas, helping you plan ahead with confidence. These roles include weekend working as a core part of the support we provide.
We're Looking for People Who Are:
- Confident and approachable
- Flexible and adaptable
- Understanding of neurodiversity
- Proactive and able to use their initiative
- Compassionate and empathetic
- Patient and reliable
- Positive and supportive
- Able to bring a great sense of humour to their role
- Full UK driving license holders
Closing Date: 19th October
Interview Date: 26th October
We review applications on an ongoing basis and will contact shortlisted candidates to arrange interview availability.
We look forward to welcoming you to the team and helping Lizzy continue to live a full, active and independent life.
