Every part that ships from a regulated manufacturing site passes through one set of hands first. This is the role that decides whether it goes out the door.
We’re working with a precision manufacturer in Rotherham, producing components for medical device and other highly regulated markets, who are looking for a Quality Inspector to join their quality team. You’ll inspect parts against engineering drawings, raise inspection records, and elevate non-conformances before they become customer problems. In an environment where there’s no room for “close enough,” your judgement matters.
What you’ll bring:
- Quality inspection experience within CNC/precision manufacturing, covering in-process and final inspection
- The ability to read engineering drawings and inspect components against dimensional and visual requirements
- Hands-on experience with standard inspection equipment such as micrometers, verniers and gauges, ideally with CMM exposure too
- A clear head for raising inspection records and escalating non-conformances when something isn’t right
Medical device or other regulated manufacturing experience is a bonus, as is exposure to NCR and product disposition activity.
