This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled engineer to join our team. Working for a family run business working in general haulage & specialised mobile medical trailer maintenance and transport. The right candidate will be trained in the repairs and maintenance of specialised medical trailers. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and scheduling maintenance for our customers and internal fleet of tractor units and trailers. This is an opportunity to learn new skills more than ordinary maintenance. As a company we aim to be different from the rest by carrying out each job we do professionally and right first time. Mobile Commercial Vehicle & Trailer Engineer – Duties: * Attend call outs across the UK and work on company premises in Manchester * Perform truck and trailer inspections/ brake tests and ability to carry out necessary repairs * Computer literacy needed * Maintain accurate records of every job carried outBe able to work early morning, late nights and through the night work * Must have a professional and flexible approach when representing the company having a can do attitude * Must have ability to be able to carry out engineering work on equipment (in house training provided) Mobile Commercial Vehicle & Trailer Engineer – Requirements: * Hold a valid commercial vehicle driving licence category C+E (Class 1) * Have the right to work and live in the UK * Ability to drive long hours and travel long distances * Strong time management and organisational skills * Strong work ethics * Good presentation dedicated to ensuring the cleanliness of van allocated to you * Join our team as an engineer and be part of a dynamic company that values safety, efficiency, and professionalism in all aspects of our operations.
