Forensic Healthcare Practitioner – Bank Shifts (Weekends) – City of London

Are you a registered nurse or paramedic with at least 3 years’ experience? Looking for a unique clinical role outside of the usual healthcare setting?

We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established forensic medical service provider for bank staff to cover primarily weekend shifts in a custody suite environment in Scarborough. This role offers flexibility while giving you exposure to a challenging and highly rewarding field.

Key responsibilities:

  • Clinical assessments of individuals in police custody
  • Identifying and responding to urgent health needs
  • Advising custody staff and supporting care decisions
  • Gathering forensic evidence and maintaining accurate records

What we’re looking for:

  • Registered Nurse or Paramedic (NMC/HCPC)
  • Minimum 3 years’ post-registration experience
  • UK driving licence and own vehicle
  • Strong decision-making and communication skills
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Clearance through the Police Vetting System: Level 2 NPPV

Previous custody or forensic experience needed.
