We are seeking a capable and motivated Senior Investment Analyst to join our dynamic Investment team. Supporting the Chief Investment Officer, you’ll play a key role in working with a diverse and complex £3bn portfolio, spanning a range of asset classes and strategies. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to develop their skills whilst making a difference across both strategic and operational aspects of institutional portfolio management.
What you will be doing:
- Overseeing the fund managers, and their mandates.
- Understanding performance drivers and attribution, and opportunities and risks being managed across the portfolio.
- Working with third parties, systems, data, own research etc., to interpret, or to produce reports and papers for senior stakeholders.
- Advising on, and implementing, strategic, tactical, investment, and operational initiatives to improve portfolio outcomes.
What you will bring:
- Likely Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field, or very strong A levels.
- Achieved, or working towards, professional certifications such as CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or equivalent.
- Demonstrable track record in analysing financial data sets and forming well-grounded commentary and/or recommendations.
- Experience in various asset classes, including equities, fixed income, credit, private markets, real estate, and alternatives.
- Previous experience of designing or providing performance reports for oversight committees across complex investment portfolios.
