We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and proactive finance professional to join our team based in Leeds.
You will join the team as an ReconciliationAccountant and play an integral role in the finance division providing comprehensive and efficient support across various aspects of day-today accounting such as; completing monthly bank & balance sheet reconciliations; maintaining the group’s fixed asset registers; preparing statutory returns for local and overseas sales taxes and; conducting regular control checks for key systems and reporting in order to ensure the business remains legally compliant and able to effectively support other functions across the group.

In recognition of the importance of work-life balance, we offer a hybrid work model based at our Leeds office.Our team typically works in the office 1-2 days a week, making Wednesday a key collaborative day for the Financial Reporting team.
Main Responsibilities
- Assist in executing the Finance strategy to drive organisational success.
- Oversee and finalise the monthly and annual financial accounting processes with attention to detail.
- Play an integral role in managing specific components of the MPS budget, including bank charges and depreciation, as necessary.
- Ensure meticulous management of all financial accounting transactions and tasks requested by the Finance division, upholding strict compliance with financial controls for cost-incurring activities.
- Collaborate in the analysis and production of metrics derived from organisational data sources to support informed business decision-making.
- Proactively monitor and assess emerging financial risks and issues arising from business operations, ensuring timely response and management.
