This role combines advanced modelling, pricing expertise, and oversight of pricing systems to shape strategy, strengthen governance, and enhance analytical capability. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, you’ll own end-to-end initiatives, influence senior stakeholders, and provide technical leadership and mentorship across the function.

As our new Senior Pricing and Data Science Analyst (UK&I), you will also:

  • Develop and enhance pricing models, emulators, and analytical tools to deliver accurate, robust, and explainable outputs.
  • Lead system-driven pricing initiatives, working cross-functionally to productionise models and implement changes safely and efficiently.
  • Deliver clear, impactful insights and pricing recommendations to senior stakeholders and governance forums.
  • Own renewal performance monitoring, providing detailed analysis against key KPIs and supporting performance tracking.
  • Build and maintain pricing insight tools to support operational teams and inform delegated authorities.
  • Analyse pricing variance and collaborate with underwriting to guide discount strategy and governance.
  • Design tools and frameworks to support pricing decisions for high-value and high-risk segments.
  • Apply advanced analytics, including elasticity modelling, to inform pricing strategy and planning.
  • Partner with underwriting and commercial teams throughout planning cycles to enable data-driven decisions.
  • Provide technical mentorship and support to junior analysts, contributing to overall team capability.

We are looking for:

  • Strong numerical degree (or equivalent experience) with significant experience in pricing, data science, analytics, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of pricing, analytics, and data science principles, with proven application in a commercial environment
  • Advanced Excel skills (modelling, pivots, VBA) and strong SQL capability, with experience working with large, complex datasets
  • Experience developing pricing systems, emulators, or analytical tools
  • Experience with statistical and predictive modelling techniques (e.g. regression, GLMs), or a strong interest in developing expertise in these areas
  • Good understanding of governance, model risk, and change control within a regulated environment
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and present effectively at governance forums
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development

We welcome applicants from all backgrounds, and we encourage you to apply even if you feel you do not match 100% of the technical requirements. We celebrate diversity, promote inclusivity and strive to create a work environment which ensures everyone can be heard.

In return, we can offer you:

  • Discretionary on-target bonus of 10%. Up to a max 20% based on performance
  • 11% pension contribution (3% from you, 8% from us – optional additional matched 3% contributions, e.g. 6% from you, 11% from us)
  • 25 days annual leave. Flexible public holidays and option to buy/sell additional leave
  • Private Medical Cover
  • Car Salary Sacrifice scheme
  • 6x salary death in service
  • Holistic health and wellbeing support package
  • A truly flexible hybrid-working arrangement
  • A culture that promotes inclusivity, wellbeing and rewards hard work

Who We Are

We are a not-for-profit organisation, meaning our Members’ premiums are kept safe should our Members require support for complaints or claims arising from professional practice, or invested into bettering the organisation, our colleagues and our products.

To do this, we need colleagues who are trusted and supported to deliver their best work, whether that be through leadership development, fully-funded training courses or peer-to-peer support. We want our colleagues to feel empowered enough to deliver positive change, display ambition to push themselves and are determined when faced with a challenge, whilst ensuring our Member’s best interests are at the core.
