We’re looking for a Pricing & Data Science Analyst to join our team and help deliver data-driven pricing, modelling, and analytical solutions across our UK & Ireland portfolio. This role offers the opportunity to work across the full pricing lifecycle — from data extraction and modelling through to implementation and monitoring — supporting sustainable growth, strong underwriting performance, and excellent member outcomes.
As our new Pricing and Data Science Analyst (UK&I), you will also:
- Develop and maintain pricing models, data science solutions, and pricing systems (including emulators)
- Extract, analyse, and interpret membership, claims, and financial data to inform pricing decisions
- Support technical and retail pricing activities, including subscription setting and pricing reviews
- Deliver clear, data-led insights and recommendations to pricing and governance forums
- Monitor portfolio and model performance, identifying risks, trends, and opportunities for optimisation
- Produce monthly renewal monitoring and performance analysis across key KPIs
- Build and maintain pricing tools to support underwriting decisions and delegated authority frameworks
- Apply predictive modelling techniques (e.g. GLMs) to enhance pricing accuracy and insight
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to productionise models and deliver system changes
- Support transformation initiatives and the development of future pricing frameworks and capabilities
We are looking for:
- Strong numerical degree (or equivalent analytical experience)
- Solid understanding of pricing, analytics, and data science principles
- Experience working with large, complex datasets
- Advanced Excel skills (modelling, pivots, VBA)
- Coding capability (SQL, Python, R, or SAS)
- Knowledge of statistical and predictive modelling techniques
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience delivering pricing or analytics work in a commercial or regulated environment
