The Cloud Infrastructure Analyst is responsible for delivering and owning support for the organisation's cloud infrastructure to meet business objectives. This includes troubleshooting Azure and Microsoft 365 environments for all teams, including operations, development, training, and other business units.
The role also supports the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of cloud environments, working with vendors and third parties as needed. It ensures the smooth operation, maintenance, and optimisation of cloud platforms, resolves technical issues, and contributes to overall IT strategy.
As our new Cloud Infrastructure Analyst, you will also:
- Collaborate with TDD (Technology, Digital & Data) teams to deliver effective Incident, Request, and Problem Management using available tools.
- Support and implement changes of varying complexity in line with governance and defined processes.
- Identify and drive improvements to service delivery, processes, tools, and ways of working.
- Maintain awareness of current information security threats and contribute to preventative and remedial actions.
- Stay up to date with evolving technologies and recommend relevant improvements to enhance MPS systems.
We are looking for:
- Broad experience across Azure Cloud product suite (IAM/ DevOps/Storage/Backup & DR/Networking etc.), including infrastructure management within Azure.
- Exposure to Infrastructure as Code platforms & tools/script (Terraform/ ARM / PowerShell/Bash).
- Extensive experience of working with Microsoft client and server platforms.
- Ability to manage technical solutions across multiple geographic locations.
- Experience of delivering technical projects from design to implementation.
- Degree in a relevant subject or equivalent professional experience, and strong knowledge of both Azure and MS 365 fundamentals.
